Dr. Julie Ducharme DBA
Dr. Julie Ducharme has been an integral part of the city of San Diego beginning in 1995 when she was recruited to play volleyball for San Diego Christian College. Julie attended from 1995-1999 and during that time won 2 national titles and broke many other records while playing for the school. While at the school Dr. Ducharme was very involved with the community. She worked as an assistant for San Diego Christian College’s PR office specifically with public outreach for the school. Julie designed a float for 4 years for the Mother Goose Parade and 3 years in a row won best float prize. In order to become even more connected with the community of San Diego Julie was an intern in the Mayor’s office for Byron Wear. After graduating Dr. Ducharme continued her sports career playing volleyball overseas professionally and finished her advanced degrees.
For the last 15 years Dr. Ducharme has been working with corporations, colleges and universities in San Diego and outside of San Diego as well. Dr. Ducharme holds a BA in communication, MBA with a specialization in marketing, and a DBA with a specialization in Leadership. Dr. Ducharme is a public speaker and has spoken with and at many universities across the U.S. and corporations on leadership, business, and marketing. Dr. Ducharme is also a published author with a children’s book, Amy the Clumsy Angel, Women in Senior Leadership Positions in Academia, Award winning The Refractive Thinker: Social Responsibility, best paper at the IBAMM conference. She currently is the owner/creator/CEO of JD Consulting LLC, the owner/creator/CEO of Julie’s Party People, and president of Synergy Learning Institute. Dr. Ducharme is also a professor/doctorate chair and mentor for the DBA Program at Walden University. She regularly consults businesses and schools in various areas of business, public outreach, curriculum, program design and many other topics in the business and academic arena.
Professor Will Taylor has an Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. He began his career as an automotive engineer running his own shop for well over 15 years. From there he transitioned into a position at Bakersfield College in California as the head master tech engineer for the automotive program. He has taught automotive classes for the past 26 years. He also has served on several high school and college advisory committees and has overseen several automotive apprenticeships programs. He currently serves Synergy Learning Institute as the automotive chair and faculty.
Professor Will Taylor holds an A.S.E Master Technician an A.S.E. Advanced Level Technician (L-1 Certification) And A.S.E. Under Car Specialist. He also has California Smog, Brake, and Lamp License. He also holds a Designated Subject Teaching credential in Automotive and has over 15 years of field experience as a Journeyman Automotive Technician.
Dr. Walker is a well decorated Marine Corps officer with a distinguished military career that includes 3 combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She is a published researcher with specializations in education, training, gender research, and industrial/organizational psychology. In addition to her current work with Executive and Organizational consulting, she has been an advocate for change and worked as an adjunct professor for several universities. Dr. Walker has experience in private consulting coordinating, developing and teaching diversity and leadership training, and course curriculum for executives and mid-level managers. She has one amazingly handsome son, Cayleb, and adorable dog named Bella.
Dr. Russell Corpron delivers over 30 years of combined professional and academic experience that is aligned with his diverse background as a U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted/Surface Warfare Officer, business owner/entrepreneur, executive-level business consultant, and Adjunct Professor. He has compiled decades of experience and expertise from his work as a Senior Military Training Team Leader for U.S. Navy Surface Warfare and Ballistic Missile Defense programs.
Dr. Corpron retired from active-duty U.S. Navy service in 2007 and subsequently worked as a San Diego California-based Senior Staff Engineer, Program Analyst, Independent Business Consultant and Advisor to senior military officers and their supporting staffs. Dr. Corpron continues to remain actively involved in the U.S. Defense Industry and has become recognized as a San Diego, California based defense industry expert. He is the doctoral dissertation author of “US Defense Industry Executive’s Reluctance to Pursue Globalization in San Diego, CA Based Small to Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs).”
As President of RJ Corpron Consulting, he leads and manages a start-up business focused on providing advanced educational training services and support to both government and private clients. RJ Corpron Consulting’s objective is to delivers advanced levels of corporate/private training and educational subject matter expertise to the U.S. military, U.S. Defense Industry, and domestic small to medium-sized businesses.
Dr. Corpron brings significant academic experience from years of involvement as a university and college Adjunct Professor of Business Studies. He continues to lecture on a wide-variety of business related topics at the undergraduate to doctoral-level. He has taught extensively online, on-ground, and in hybrid classroom environments. Additionally, he provides clients with subject matter expertise on innovative training systems, proven classroom instructional techniques, and evolving classroom technologies designed to vastly improve student learning outcomes. He is often requested to serve in Senior Faculty Advisor roles at for-profit and not-for-profit organizations devoted to higher education training. As a transitioned U.S. Naval Officer, he fully understands the needs of military veterans and their often challenging transitions to civilian life. Dr. Corpron is passionate about helping fellow veterans improve their lives. He accomplishes this goal by providing veterans with tailored education programs and sound mentorship guidance designed to help position them to successfully transition back to the civilian world.
Dr. Corpron earned his Doctor of Business Administration degree in International Business from Argosy University, Master of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix, and Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate from National University. Additionally, Dr. Corpron served as community elected Board of Directors President and Treasurer (from 2010-2016) for a 290 residence Home Owners Association in Chula Vista, CA. He also holds an active State of California license as a Real Estate Salesperson.

A financial interest is not necessarily a conflict of interest. A person who has a financial interest may have a conflict of interest only if the appropriate governing board or committee decides that a conflict of interest exists.
